Another big Evertonian, John was named 'Reserve player of the Season' last year. Having played in 23 Under 18 matches, he also made an impressive 17 starts for the second string!

Despite being a central defender by trade, Irving has proved to be more than capable of playing at right back.

John, whose middle name is Goodison, has featured for the England U16 side.
