The three previous Premiership visits to St Andrews have given mixed results so far for Everton, having won one, drawn one, and lost one, Thomas Gravesen netting the only goal of the 2004-05 meeting from the penalty spot to secure all three points for a high flying Everton.

Everton are known for taking small allocations at Birmingham, despite cries that more tickets could be sold from supporters, and this season is no different. The normal Birmingham away allocation is 3,000 tickets, which can be increased to 4,500 on request. Everton have taken 1,400 on all of the meetings at St Andrew's.

Three of the stands at St Andrew's have been re-developed, but the old Main Stand remains as a reminder of just where Birmingham City have come from while the "Railway End" (where away fans sit) has the smallest Upper Tier imaginable which interupts what could be a "bowl" stadium, and looks as though they ran out of money when building it, so put the roof on what they had managed.

How to get there :

By Car:
Leave the M6 at junction 6. Then take the A38 Aston Expressway, leave at the second exit and then at the roundabout take the first exit onto the A540 Dartmouth Middleway (signposted Bordesley). After 1.25 miles turn left into St Andrew's Street.

By Bus:
Line 56, 57, 60, 96, & 97 (from the city centre)

By Train:
Brimingham New Street Station & Birmingham Moor Street Station (20 minutes walk)
