Rodwell ready to step up

Jack Rodwell reckons he would be ready to make the step up to full international level if he was called upon.

“I’d be honoured to make the next step to the senior side,” said the Everton teenager.  “I’ve got some experience at Under-21 level now, which was much different to the youth system.

“I think I’d definitely be ready. I’ve always believed in my ability and it’s my dream to play for England. I’m going to keep working towards it. Whether it’s one or four years, I’ll keep doing my best to get there.

“But, yes, I definitely believe I’ve got the ability to do it.”
