Heitinga in the final

John Heitinga and his Dutch team-mates are in the final of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Heitinga helped his side beat a combative Uruguayan side 3-2 through goals from Van Bronckhorst, Robben, and Sneijder.

Diego Forlan had drawn Uruguay level after Van Bronckhorst had shown that it’s not just the Uruguayan who can control the ball from long range, with Heitinga being given some sort of blame by ITV’s know-nothing commentary team, which was without a poorly Jim Beglin, although that only reduced the idiocy by 50%.

Heitinga will be sure to start on Sunday in the final though, and will be enjoying his time in South Africa.  Hopefully he can come back as a World Cup winner.
