Hibbert: This pre-season has been better

Tony Hibbert believes that this pre-season campaign, and the changes made in it, has been better for Everton and will see them start the Premier League campaign next season in a much better fashion that previous years.

For the past 3 years Everton have traveled to the United States in pre-season, but this time round the club went to Australia, a move Hibbert believes will be of great benefit.

He said: “This season we’ve seemed to click and it’s worked for us.

“We’ve changed the format slightly for this pre-season – maybe for the better.

“We’ve got four out of four at the moment so we must be doing something right.”
