Vaughan wants to stay at Everton

James VaughanJames Vaughan doesn’t want to leave Everton and instead wants to prove he can cut it at the top of the English game.

The striker, who became Everton’s (and the Premier League’s) youngest goalscorer in 2005, has suffered a torturous time with injuries since bursting onto the scene, but is fit again and wants to prove he can still become an Everton striker.

“I definitely want to prove that I can still score at Goodison,” Vaughan told the Echo.

“It`s been a nightmare with my injuries but I just want to get a run of games and hopefully start scoring some goals and play my way into the team.”
