Jagielka Going Nowhere
In an interview with TalkSport, Phil Jagielka has denied any speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal this summer and said he loves playing for the Toffees.
“There’s nothing I can do about the speculation, but the gaffer has pulled me aside and told me I’m not going anywhere,” said the centre-back, who completed 90 minutes for England on Wednesday night.
“I’m happy with that. I’m an Everton player, I love playing for the club, and I’m just going to get on with my job there.”
Arsenal had a bid of around £14 million rejected for Jagielka earlier in the summer.
