Pienaar glad to focus on Everton

Steven Pienaar is glad the transfer window is closed, and that he can spend the next four months at least focusing on his Everton career.

Tweeting, which much be new to the South African, he said, “The transfer deadline is over and its nice to be able to be focused on continuing at Everton.”

Pienaar had been constantly linked in the media to a move away from Goodison Park but manager David Moyes said over the weekend that he knew Pienaar would focus on Everton and continue being the professional player we all know.
