Saha heading to Spurs?

Louis SahaTottenham have apparently tied up a deal to take Louis Saha to White Hart Lane.

In a bizarre twist on transfer deadline day, rumours had emerged about a potential swap deal involving the Frenchman and Steven Pienaar, who joined the Lilywhites twelve months ago from Everton in a £2.5m deal. The swap deal is said to be a six month loan switch between the pair, but as of yet there is no news of the 29 year old South African heading in the other direction to Finch Farm.

Saha’s part of the deal, however, is said to have been sealed, with BBC chief football writer Phil McNulty tweeting: ‘Louis Saha from Everton to Spurs now looking a done deal. Really intriguing move that.’

The 32 year old joined the Toffees from Manchester United in the summer of 2008, and scored 27 goals in 97 appearances during his three and a half year stay.
