Coleman nominated for Ireland award

Seamus Coleman has been nominated as Young International of the Year by the Republic of Ireland FA.

Coleman, who joined Everton for £60,000 from Sligo Rovers in 2009 has been a revelation at club level, earning him five full international caps so far.

West Brom striker Simon Cox and Leeds defender Darren O’Dea have also been nominated for the award, the winners of which will be announced on Sunday evening live on RTE for our Irish readers.
