Blues track Scottish free agent

By on March 9, 2012

Goodison ParkDavid Moyes has apparently been in contact with Gregg Wylde with a view to bring him to Goodison Park.

The former Rangers man quit Ibrox and agreed to forgo his redundancy payout in order to help the club out of their current financial mess, and is now a free agent.

Wylde is a Scotland Under 21 international winger and was subject to a £400,000 bid from Bolton in the summer, which Rangers rejected.

I’ve heard quite a lot of good things about this lad and for little or no money I think we should get him in. He’s a natural winger and if we do lose 1 or both of Pienaar and Drenthe then he could take their place.
