Gibson heading to Poland
May 7, 2012
Everton midfielder Darron Gibson has been handed a place in the Republic of Ireland squad for the European Championships this summer.
The Blues midfielder has been in impressive form since signing from Manchester United in January, having been on the losing side in just one Premier League game for Everton in a dozen starts.
Seamus Coleman made the standby list for the tournament, but is likely to miss out after missing much of the season at Everton through poor form and injury.
