Moyes is out of contract in the summer but the theatre impresario says he knows that the Scot is the best man for the job at Goodison Park.
The Everton chairman said, “We talk up to four times a day and everyone knows that I think – and every Evertonian thinks – he is the best thing to happen to this football club for a long, long time.
“He is the greatest manager for this football club and he and I know we will be sitting down and talking about it. That is a given.
“It’s been a really good start to the season.”
