Merry Christmas from NSNO

evertonxmasIt doesn’t feel like it, but another year is almost at an end – and, much like anyone else, NSNO is taking time out to look back on the past 12 months.

On the field, it’s been a strange calendar year for Everton. We watched as Roberto Martinez and his charges pulled themselves away from a relegation battle towards the back end of the 2014/15 season, before reaching a first Capital One Cup semi final in eight seasons during this campaign.

We’ve also witnessed Romelu Lukaku equal Adrian Heath’s 28 goals scored in a calendar year, swooned over the return of Gerard Deulofeu and laughed, cried, cheered and cursed as our club continues to put our emotions through the mill.

For the site itself, we’ve seen more solid progression, with the amount of posts and users continuing to read, post comments and discuss various matters in our forums increasing ever more, gaining further traction on our social media accounts and, potentially the most significant achievement for us yet, launching our very own fanzine thanks to your generous backing and support.

As always, none of this would matter if it wasn’t for you. We’re forever grateful for your continued support in all areas of the site, and we feel lucky to have you as part of our community.

Everyone here at NSNO would like to wish you a very happy, safe and wonderful Christmas, and we look forward to seeing you all once more in 2016.
