The Spaniard was taking part in the warm-up before Everton’s win over Dagenham & Redbridge at Goodison Park in the FA Cup Third Round and hit a shot wide of the post which landed square on a young fan’s head.
Immediately, he ran over to the front of the Gwladys Street and gave him a kiss on the head to make sure he felt better – we’re not sure whether he was red in the face from embarrassment or from the pain!
The act follows on from Romelu Lukaku‘s leap over the fences and into the stands at St Mary’s to apologise to a fan for hitting her in the head with a wayward shot in the warm-up earlier this season, and further cements Deulofeu’s place in the hearts of female Evertonians.
