Everton have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to sign FC Rostov’s Iranian striker Sardar Azmoun this January.
He scored against Ajax and Anderlecht to help Rostov reach the group stages of the Champions League this season and also found the net at Vicente Calderon to equalize against Atletico Madrid in his side’s eventual 2-1 loss to the Spanish side.
Azmoun has an impressive goalscoring record already at international level, scoring 16 times in 22 appearances for his country.
