After a display on Sunday against his former club, Cleverley will want potential suitors to look further back in his career when deciding on whether or not to take him to their hearts, while the likes of Darron Gibson and Arouna Kone won’t be far behind.
The Everton squad needs a substantial shake-up if Ronald Koeman is to fulfil his ambitions at the club, and although Steve Walsh is working hard to bring players in, there are also a large number of players currently listed in the first team squad who are unlikely to feature.
Oumar Niasse is also likely to be hawked around European football’s clubs as he continues to fire in for the Under 23 side but has resigned himself to never getting near Ronald Koeman’s plans.
