Everton are said to be making an offer for Roma defender Kostas Manolas after failing to sign the Greek international in 2012.
Manolas was at AEK Athens at the time but there were arguments over fees that would be paid and despite passing a medical and agreeing personal terms, Manolas instead moved to Olympiacos later that year.
A no-nonsense defender, Manolas would add steel to the back line at Goodison Park, and at just 25, has more of a future in the game than the current central defenders at Everton.
