Everton forward Oumar Niasse has completed a loan move to Hull City with the option to move permanently at the end of the season for £10m.
Niasse was frozen out at Goodison Park under Ronald Koeman and wasn’t even given a squad number for this season, but has worked hard with the Under 23 side where he has been scoring for fun.
Having signed for £13.5m under Roberto Martinez twelve months ago, Niasse failed to show any signs of being the kind of striker that could command that type of fee in the Everton first team, but will hope to find his feet at Hull.
Niasse felt hard done by under Koeman but Everton will think themselves lucky if a permanent deal with Hull can be struck at the end of the season, recouping almost all of the fee paid by a manager sacked less than five months later.
