Louis Saha has earned his first international call-up since 2006 and been included in the French squad that faces Spain next month.

The 31 year old has impressed with recent performances and will be looking to add to his 4 goals in 18 appearances for Les Bleus.

Vaughan the loan star

James Vaughan is apparently set to go out on loan this week, to either Derby or Coventry.

The 21 year old has been in sparkling form of late, but it seems that isn't enough to claim a place on Everton's bench.

Vaughan has been plagued by injury during his career, with the latest coming during a loan spell at Derby.

Doherty joins Marine

One-time Everton starlet Sean Doherty has now signed on for Unibiond Premier side Marine AFC.

Doherty moved to Fulham whilst still an academy player, in what was seen as a controversial move at the time, but failed to fulfil his potential.

After leaving Fulham he spent time with ADO Den Haag, Port Vale, Accrington Stanley, Belgian club Royal Antwerp, Sligo Rovers and Witton Albion.

Article	Regarding the latest discussion about ' the Groundshare ' or DK , I'd like to add my little bit . I'm 50 years old and first went to Goodison at a reletively late age , I was 10 years old when I saw the Blues draw 2 - 2 with Arsenal and Alan Whittle scored both our goals , I had the pleasure of meeting Alan about 2 years ago and mentioned this ... He remembered the game well and actually told me it was the 1 st time he'd scored with a shot from outside the area ... I'd always followed the Blues but my Dad couldn't stand ' footy ' he couldn't believe the adulation the players got when he'd spent 5 years of WW2 in a ship in the middle of the Atlantic pulling bodies onto a life raft .. brings things into perspective now I'm older . After that 1st game , you couldn't keep me away from Goodison and as I got older the experience of the Baseball ground , Victoria Park Roker park once and most of the " Traditional " stadia .. I danced along Bullens Road in 1977 when I got my ticket to Wembley for the League cup final v Villa ...Now i suffer fron osteo arthritis in both my knees but still made my way twice this year there great experience , crap game ... ? I can remember the talk of a shared stadium back in the 70's at Aintree racecourse , shot down in flames . Back to my point ... Everton FC ..is Goodison Park to me and vica versa , I know all the arguments about the financial sense it makes to Move .. be it Kirkby or a shared venue , but surely it's been proved by Top architects Tom Hughes and Trevor Skempson that a refurbished Goodison is possible , Kenwright has been quoted he doesn't want to be known as the Chairman who took us from Goodison ... So he has openly admitted he is incapable of doing his job . So why is he still here ? The clubs identity and spiritual home is paramount in my eyes .. It's where I seen Bally , Latch , Big Nev Sharpy , Reidy , Labby , Westy , Andy gray , tricky Trev , Sheeds and lately Mikel .,Jags Cahill .... and .. too many to mention ... It's where my heart lies , not just me but the Lads and Ladies on the NSNO coach to Wembley and who attended the Bobby Latch , Tony Cottee night , and in fact those unable to attend those great occasions ... Born Not Manufactured .... That statement could only be attatched to Evertonians and if I can take anything positive from our final game of this season that was it The Peoples Club , our name ... our heritage and Goodison Park is our ground ... Lets keep it that way !!! This incidentaly .. is my opinion , I'm not foolish enough not to accept some peoples views will differ from mine ..... but trying to alter my opinion is a non starter , So don't try .... unless you want to of course

Comments: 4 Registered: 29 Jan : 13:06	ToM. Ibrox which is very similar to Goodison,but with a smaller footprint was steadily redeveloped bit by bit,blending the old with the new. It is now graded an A5 stadium by UEFA. So if it can be achieved their,it can happen at Goodison. Location: Liverpool

Location: My pad in Sevvy Park lad I’ve been on the pitch when a team-mate has been on the receiving end of stick from the terraces and it does distract you. It makes you feel uncomfortable and it has a negative impact on performances, when one of your mates is being barracked, it’s hard to focus on the job in hand.

Tom , thats my point entirely , the current board and its recent predecessors have let the fans down badly it's now time for them to put up or shut up ... not take us further into the abyss by moving to Kirkby , The signs are that fortunately the enquiry will throw this disaster of a plan out . Now is the time for them to walk away before David moyes and half of his fantastically assembled first team squad go first . Then we would be ' up the creek ' A shared stadium is a sensible idea , but football is much more than that , than just somebody's business plan , ... Why do you think we're all proud of " The Peoples Club " quote .. or the " We don't choose , we are chosen " Mantra ... davy Moyes has brought professionalism , class and dignity back to the Blues , something sadly lacking in our board of directors .
