Louis Saha has earned his first international call-up since 2006 and been included in the French squad that faces Spain next month.

The 31 year old has impressed with recent performances and will be looking to add to his 4 goals in 18 appearances for Les Bleus.

Vaughan the loan star

James Vaughan is apparently set to go out on loan this week, to either Derby or Coventry.

The 21 year old has been in sparkling form of late, but it seems that isn't enough to claim a place on Everton's bench.

Vaughan has been plagued by injury during his career, with the latest coming during a loan spell at Derby.

Doherty joins Marine

One-time Everton starlet Sean Doherty has now signed on for Unibiond Premier side Marine AFC.

Doherty moved to Fulham whilst still an academy player, in what was seen as a controversial move at the time, but failed to fulfil his potential.

After leaving Fulham he spent time with ADO Den Haag, Port Vale, Accrington Stanley, Belgian club Royal Antwerp, Sligo Rovers and Witton Albion.

Article	Everton Football Club is desperate to leave Goodison Park, despite citing a respect to the "Old Lady" and wanting to keep the atmosphere and history alive wherever the Blues play their football. But what are the club's plans for Goodison once it is vacated? Everton will have played their football at Goodison Park for 120 years by the time any new stadium is moved into, so how will this be remembered? A glance across the park at our previous homes and places of historical importance gives a worrying hint that once the football stops, the bulldozers will remove any trace of the Blues from Goodison Road. At the top of St Domingo Vale, where St Domingo's Church once stood, there is a sheltered housing complex. What is there to commemorate greats like George Mahon plotted the future of Everton Football Club? A blue plaque, inside a security door. Priory Road, Everton's first pitch, as well as Stanley Park, show no signs that Everton were ever gracing their once lush green turf. Anfield? Well, the reds would never allow it would they! The plaque erected at The Sandon was poorly maintained once it had been ripped down by jealous Liverpool fans, and Prince Rupert's Tower on Netherfield Road is commonly used as a tramp's bed and breakfast. Goodison can not be allowed to share that fate. Goodison is too special for that. If Everton are to leave Goodison Park, something should be done to mark our place in that piece of land's illustrious history. The stadium was ground-breaking. The players who played on it followed suit. Goodison was the first place outside London to host an FA Cup Final. The first football ground to be visited by a reigning monarch. The place where Dixie Dean scored his 60th goal, and Goodison has been witness to hundreds of memorable feats. To let that disappear under the sands of time is simply not the "optimum" that our motto demands. When other clubs have made bids to leave behind their historical home, there have been plans - from the outset - as to how the previous ground can be remembered. If only naming the newly-developed suburban streets after famous former players. What do Everton have planned? At the moment, Everton have just re-started the Public Inquiry into a move to Kirkby. If given permission, Robert Elstone reckons building could start in the summer. These plans are at an advanced stage, so it follows that so should plans for our old home - the sale of which is to fund a small amount of the cost of a stadium elsewhere. How will our legacy in Walton be marked? A plaque behind a locked door that only the elderly and their carers can see? A plaque that, once torn down, isn't replaced? Or a tramp's bathroom? Let's hope not.

Well, I kinda have 2 points of view here...
I live in Kirkby, so of course, it'd be easier for me to get to the matches, as the stadiums only planned to be literally 5 minutes away from where I live,
But I was thinking the exact same thing. There's too many memories at Goodison,
And there is absolutely NO point in moving it at all!
I just wish there was a good explanation...
Anyway,
The people in my family are struggling to decide...
But of course, we do want Everton to stay in the ACTUAL City, not just on the outskirts.
So, I can't end it with a resolution...
All I'm gonna say is,
What do you think?
