I was over at the Camp Nou last Saturday and to see Barca play Levante, it was an excellent performance from Barca after a wee bit of a dip of form lately.

So I'm hoping Barca will beat Real Madrid but Guardiola may have to put more emphasis on defending because there will be no tougher test for them than Real.

Real only need a draw, then the fate is in their own hands as they can lose the return fixture and still win the league

wouldnt surprise me to see mourinho adopt the defensive approach again, Zonal markings preview article of the match discusses this

If anyone can do it, its mourinho, hes the only man to of toppled peps barca twice (inter champions league, real copa del ray) and if he can get through this match, and most likely go on to win the title then i have to say he is perhaps the greatest manager ever to of lived.

It's going to be different than last season.
Madrid have upped their game in the second season of Mourinho being in charge.

I just hope it's a great game, and no booting of the opps, that the Madrid (Pepe and Sergio Ramos) players were prone to last season.

Some of their players, like Busquets are truly embarrassing though. He doesn't get the same spotlight as Suarez or Ronaldo did but he's up there with the very best of cheats and divers.

Messi is their saving grace though. He gets my full respect and admiration for staying on his feet even when many would've gone down.

Teams:

Real Madrid: Casillas; Diarra, Albiol, Ramos, Marcelo; Pepe, Alonso, Coentrao; Ronaldo, Benzema, Di Maria

Barcelona: Valdes; Alves, Puyol, Pique, Abidal; Mascherano, Xavi, Iniesta; Sanchez, Messi, Villa

I think that's Diarra in for Ozil for Real, suggest Mourinho's looking to tighten things up a bit.  Pretty much full strength for both sides though, I think it's going to be a cracker this time round.

Sky saying it's the most watched match in the world, they reckon worldwide, 500m people watch this game?

Balague's fucking awful at live presenting by the way.
