Jack Reacher - Not great but worth a watch, a little tame for my taste

Tom Cruise must be one of the most overated actors ever.

As for The Hobbit, all that I can remember from that movie now is the riddle scene. Derek is right, it is very bloated, but so were the LOTR trilogy too.

I don't get Cruise being cast as Reacher? I've read a few Lee Child books that the character of Reacher comes from. In the books he's portrayed as a 6 foot plus heavy set man, yet they cast one of the shortest people in Hollywood as the role?

Tom Cruise is a brilliant actor when in the right role, it's just he mostly appears in crap films.

In Magnolia he gives one of the best performances I've ever seen.
