So, been a bit bored as of late, and decided to work on a project. I present the NSNO Player Rating's Scoreboard!

What is it?
The NSNO Player Rating's Scoreboard is a scoreboard that will be continuously updated with data from the player ratings threads Silas makes after every match. By collecting every players performance in each league game, we can determine which player NSNO views as best, worst, and search for trends in a player's performance.

Only league games?
Only league games will be analyzed. This is because cup games, with abnormal squads and lower league teams can lead to strange performances that don't reflect how a player is actually contributing to the team.

How exactly does it work?
Simple. For each game, every rating submitted for each player is entered into Microsoft excel and averaged. Then, each players (and sometimes Moyes') ratings for each game are entered into a final score sheet, where they are averaged into a season rating.

Are all players rated?
No. To be fully rated, enough data must be acquired. Players who only play occasionally (such as youth players) are rated, but not added into the final scoresheet. This goes for short term loan players too. All players are rated, but only first team regulars get put into the scoresheet.

How often is this board updated?
Usually 3-4 days after each league game the data will be collected and updated. The waiting period is to give people time to submit ratings, so there's no rush.

This is kind of interesting. Can I see the data myself?
Raw data is available on request by email in microsoft excel format. Performance graphs for each player are available via email either in excel or image format upon request. Please private message me with what data you would like and to what email you would like it sent to. I'll try and send it out within a day or two, depending on how much data you ask for.

Now, the scoreboard itself:

(notice: Numbers are rounded to the first decimal. Tied scores are decided by the next decimal place. However, for simplicity, only one decimal place is shown)

Wont really tell me anything other than how popular the players are on here, but  I appreciate the notable effort and would take a look, if only to see how low a score Neville can go.

I had similar thoughts man. Might even re-run the data.

At current, there isn't a ton to learn, but it's mainly just fun to keep track. Hopefully I'll find creative ways to use it when I get more data.

Know your joking, but I did forget to say: One ratings post per person per game.

Bily 5.3 Huh?
I like the lad but he's barely played and he's frankly looked shite all season.
It's a nice idea though, I would also find it informative for a column stating minutes played, Or games played.. ??

Sharpattack multiple voting?

Doubt it, otherwise Osman would have had a low rating.

Considering the EPL and multiple channels record games played, that should be pretty easy to implement. Thanks for the suggestion.

I've been excluding true outliers, but I can't discount somebody's opinion without statistical reason. When I mean true outliers I mean people just taking a piss, giving joking ratings (i.e. 1s or 10s). Problem is, I'm never sure when some are just screwing around or actually rating  lol

Also, I haven't put in the last two games yet, so I'm predicting his rating will rise when I do.

Good idea. You'll always get the odd person who will rate at the extremes but the vast majority on here will give good ratings.

I'll sticky this for you anyway.

I like this idea. Sharpattack will love that Osman average rating!I find it hard to believe there have been 15 better players than him for us this season. In fact overall hes probably been in the top 5, particularly of the regular starters. Hope my 10 for straq yesterday isn't what has bumped him up so high!hes quickly becoming my favourite player.ever
