Cut their ticket allocation by a third to 2,100 tickets for the league game on February 11th.

You're probably right, they're both as bad as each other.

I don't think Liverpool had much to do with the decision.

"A report to Liverpool City Council has recommended cutting the visiting fans’ capacity from 3,015 to 1,965 to combat the problem of people blocking gangways.

The Ground Safety Advisory Group, who compiled the report after the match between the two sides in April, suggest United fans pose a greater problem than other clubs at Anfield.

Liverpool City Council’s licensing committee will make a final decision on the proposal at a meeting on August 8.

“Pictures were presented which showed how the gangways at that game were affected compared to a similar high-profile game where persistent standing also occurred,” said the report."

The decision wasn't made by LFC, it was the Liverpool City council.

Why's it a lie? The council had the final say.

Yeah Liverpool put forward evidence, but the final said would have been the council.

It was a breach of health and safety, and it was done in the best interests so that people wouldn't get hurt. I think Liverpool of all clubs would have the fans safety at heart.

No doubt you'll be well aware that last season 12 clubs reduced Uniteds ticket allocation at away games for persistant standing and blocking of gangways. Ferguson even addressed the fans about the issue.

So is it just us that are bitter? There's a good chance Everton were one of those 12 clubs. Are they bitter too?

You call it bitter, I call it common sense.

its bitter

and the irony of liverpool fc after killing 39 italians telling us about crowd safety

in case you dont go the match, liverpool fans at away games dont sit down, bunk into grounds and over-capacity them, athens anyone?

of course, that was uefas fault, nothing to do with the thousands who bunked in

its always someone elses fault

You seem to have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of United. It's almost like us with our Liverpool knowledge?
