Just what did he do today to warrant such praise ?
All's i seen was his usual impotent performance,devoid of an end product.
He reminds me of the subbies I have to deal with on site,you know the ones ,they have the nack of looking busy all day yet achieve nothing.
If he was anything special he would be playing for spurs.

joking ?  else you need your head examined - or you just think straq is a great player - his ball to straq was intelligent (as a lot of his other balls - can't blame him, that his teammates didn't do them justice) unfortuneatly straq wasn't so clever running into offside - but that was stevens fault i guess

the thing is, it's never been so much about what Pienaar produces himself as what he brings other people into the game and allows them to produce

his link up play has never been matches since he left us, and you could see both Tony Hibbert and Leighton Baines both enjoying having him in front of them to work with

add to that the fact that he can chip in with goals and you've got what we've missed since we sold him
