Hi all, do you think our club is in serious negotiations with a possible buyer? It's common knowledge that the club have no money currently and on Tuesday the EFC fans were treated to 2 new signings and then found out we had 2 failed. With this being said do you think we have something in the pipeline and that's why the club spent money? Thoughts please

We never really " spent " any money .. Jelavic and Bily were straight swaps , Saha was one of our higher paid players and his wages and sell on fee will have covered anything we pay for Pienaar

If we were in talks of a takeover the last thing we would be doing is signing players.

This thread is up over 3 hours and we have had no mention of the following:
"Bill's train set"
"Boys Pen"
"Billy Liar"
"the club's not for sale"
"King's dock"
Must be some sort of record

Why do people insist on starting threads with titles guaranteed to disappoint?

Attention seeking in the extreme.

Seems unlikely as there has been no substantial rumour for a while so unless it's the best kept secret in football I'm thinking not. As others have pointed out as great as the transfer window was it does not actually seem to have incurred any net spend. I think it's also been a bit exagerated by the fact that other clubs were doing so little business.

There are those who would have us believe a delegation from China will arrive to discuss possible investment on February 9th. The visitors will be welcomed and schmoozed by Councillor Joe Anderson, who formed a connection with them whilst on a trade visit representing Liverpool at the Shanghai Expo 2010. Personally, I believe there is legs in this one.

Oh I hope this thread dies here and does not go on and on and on all over again regurgitating the same old conflict of opinions. Serves no purpose at all until we know there is something happening. Til then change the subject.

Hello bitches,

It's happening, blue bill has realized that there's nothing left to sell, the value of the squad is in reverse and moyes isn't sticking around.

So much for an evertonian.

His grande ideas of parading his club are slowly coming to an end the useless egotistic twat.

If he could have got away with it he'd love to have a team consisting of 11 loanees as long as the banks are happy!
