Howard - 3 even without dwelling on OG incident he was flapping at a lot today.

Hibbert - 4 Was getting beaten quite a lot in the 1st half. Looked a bit better in the second but not the same calibre performance as of late
Hetinga - 6.5
Distin - 4 Shaky, perhaps not really ready yet
Baines - 6

Donovan - 5 Never really got going
Fellaini - 6
Gibson - 4 So sloppy at times, lucky to get away with it
Pienaar - 6.5 Solid return.

Cahill - 4
Straq - 4

Neville - 4 Why?
Jelavic - 4 On for 30 mins but not really made a mark on the game
Anichebe - 6 Good goal, but looked knackered after 5 mins

Moyes - 3 Good choice for Anichebe...but gets a solid WTF for the rest of it. And why no Drenthe?

Not surprised at the low ratings. The condition of the pitch was awful so we were never going to be great. Im glad they wont be in the league next season so we dont have to play on it again. Also taking the whether and the match against City into account it was understandable. I dont blame Howard much. The OG was because of the pitch. It has a clear change of direction when it hit the turf. Also with the weather Im not surprised he never tried to catch it as much as he could have.

I stopped watching after the 80th minute... but based on those 80 minutes my ratings...

Howard - 4 Don't really blame him for the goal, freak goal but he flapped at a few balls today

Hibbert - 5 Exposed a bit and Beausejour seemed to get a lot of joy down that side.
Heitinga - 7 I thought he played fairly well today. Solid
Distin - 4 Extremely shaky, maybe back too early?
Baines - 7 Thought he played well too with good link up play with Baines

Donovan - 5 Never really got going
Fellaini - 6 Tried hard when he was threw up front, but give away too many fouls (though not all should have been given)
Gibson - 5 some slack passing today. shots way off par (though the pitch was poor)
Pienaar - 7.5 Our best player today, great to have him back, looks like he never left

Cahill - 5 only had 45 minutes, didn't do a lot but put in a lot of running

El Traca - 5 not as good as his last few games but was isolated alone up front

Subs:

Neville - 3 Offers nothing in midfield. Can't be blamed for his OG
Jelavic - 5 Didn't really notice him do much
Anichebe - N/A stopped watching at this point

Moyes 2 - Tactically inept.

So you werent annoyed when in the 93 minute we had 5 players in the box with Wigan not having many more and he poorly fouled one so we couldnt cross in to have a chance?

Howard - 4. He can't be blamed for the goal really but still, he looked under-confident and his punches were terrible.

Hibbert - 4. Beaten too many times by Beausejour.
Hetinga - 6. Not many mistakes.
Distin - 4. Did OK but didn't look confident, needs more time methinks.
Baines - 6. Good movement down the left, seems as though Bainaar is back with good effect.

Donovan - 5. He was OK, I don't think he really got into the game today.
Fellaini - 6. Was playing well until shoved up front where he did OK.
Gibson - 3. His worst game in an Everton shirt so far.
Pienaar - 7. Great passing, movement and vision. Good to have him back. MOTM

Cahill - 5. Was decent until he went off (injured?).
Straq - 5. He was OK today but nothing special.

Neville - 2. Dreadful.
Jelavic - 6. Didn't really do much but through no fault of his own. His movement and runs were good though. Looks promising.
Anichebe - 6. Great goal, needs to work on fitness.

Moyes - 3. Starting lineup was good and the Anichebe sub was a great idea. However, where was Drenthe? Why was Neville anywhere near the pitch. Loss was down to him today really.

Howard - 5 Shaky at the moment.

Hibbert - 5 Slow to close down; looked much better at centre back.
Hetinga - 7 Played well. Best form since pre World Cup.
Distin - 6 Good pace, but looked a bit hesitant. Thought it was too soon to put him back in.
Baines - 6.5 Positive going forward, but like Hibbert, gives too much room for crosses.

Donovan - 6.5 Linking well at the start. Battled well.
Fellaini - 7 Always has time due to great ball control. Shouldn't have been disrupted from his duties by Neville sub.
Gibson - 4 Poor shooting, rather anonymous too. His worst performance.
Pienaar - 7.5 Always looking to make things happen, buzzing around. Great passing and movement.

Cahill - 6 Did fine; contributed to the quick passing in the first half.
Straq - 6 Battled well, not given much service though; A golden opportunity to throw Jelavic on with him was missed.

Neville - 5 Should never have come on; didn't offer much.
Jelavic - 6 Brilliant early dummy nearly played Fellaini in. Am excited about him.
Anichebe - 7 Looked really unfit. Excellent finish.

Moyes - 4 Starting line-up was fine, but bottled the first substitution. Game was crying out for Drenthe, but once Moyes makes his mind up on someone's character it is a very long road back.

Howard 3- Rubbish
Hibbert 5-torn to pieces in first half
Baines 7- defended well and got forward well too
Heitinga 7- very solid
Distin 7- Won every aerial ball put into box, dunno what game the rest of you were watching
Gibson 5- hard worker off the ball but rubbish on it, missed a great chance in first half.
Fellaini 6- good first half struggled a bit when pushed forward
Cahill 5- didn't get into the game
Donovan 6- combined well with pienaar when pienaar drifted inside on occasion but largely anonymous
Pienaar 7- best attacking player
Strac 5- didn't hold up the ball as well as in previous games

Neville 2- the sooner his idiotic floated crosses move to tottenham the happier i'll be.
Jelavic 5- seems unselfish and a hard worker but nothing quite came off for him
Anichebe 8- great run and good header for equaliser

Moyes 3- It's always 1 step forward (attacking) then 2 steps backwards (defending) with him. If cahill was injured donovan or pienaar could easily have played behind strac and someone else brought on out wide. Bringing in neville was a typically dire, Moyesian move
