It's not like he took over at Accrington. Sunderland have some damn fine players. Sessignon is a belter.

As long as they give him money he'll do ok, once that drys up he'll have a strop and walk out again.

Really??? Is that what he did at Wycombe, Leicester and Celtic?

Fair comment. I doubt he had much money at Wycombe and at Leicester he did a decent job. He was certainly backed at Celtic financially (in SPL terms)

You're usually only remembered by you're last gig and for O'Neill, that was too walk out on his club 5 days before the start of the season because the boss told him having spent £80 odd million he would need to sell before he could buy.

No, but at Wycombe and Leicester expectations were realistic. Promotion followed by upper-mid table finishes and the odd cup run. And Celtic, well Neil Lennon is about to win the league with them.
I don’t think Sunderland will ever be troubled by relegation under him but, no matter how much money they give him, he will never challenge for the top honours. Get your money on them to win the League cup next year though!

Looked it up....

Stoke
Norwich
Swansea
Chelsea
Wigan
City
Us
QPR
Spurs

Losses against Spurs and Chelsea, and an admittedly impressive win against City.  No doubt they're on a good run but City aside their wins aren't that impressive really.

Wish we could win some of those! Haha.

I find him terribly over-rated. I think they'll struggle next season.
