Depends how you look at it. We had a deal agreed with the player but not the club. Spurs vice versa.

Spurs agreed a fee. At least they took it to the deadline. Apparently the deal isn't completely dead by the way.

Got Van Der Vaart written all over it. No doubt Spurs will sign him a few hours too late and the PL will approve the transfer anyway.

I don't see how anyone cannot be pleased with this year's transfer window.

Four first team signing in the shape of Pienaar, Naismith, Mirallas and Oviedo. We kept hold of Baines, Fellaini and Jelavic and we only lost one 'major' first teamer in Rodwell.

Essien was a long shot in the end, and we may end up getting Odjidja-Ofoe on loan so all in all I'm pretty made up.

spurs will sign him they always find a loophole regarding deadlines we cant get the lad on loan as it needed to be done by tonight loans only apply for the lower leagues as far as Big Doug is aware ohh yes
