There's a bar around the soho area. It's called Mr. Dennehy's, on 63 Carmine Street. Great area for jazz as well, although it wouldn't be the same time as an Everton match. Loads of subway lines go down that area too so you shouldn't have to worry about taking the wrong train (even in NYC).
If you're ever in Boston, there is another EFC pub here as well (the Banshee, in Dorchester).
