I thought the 3-5-2 went as well as we could of hoped having never played t before. We have no creativity bar Baines, Coleman and Mirallis. This is the only system to get them forward

Agree with there con, it is a new formation and it told at times but it looked solid and played to our strengths.  Heitinga, distin and jags all played well too

Is Distin injured by the way? looked in pretty bad shape at the end?

Mirallas stayed on the bench without treatment until the end of the game so I assume he's fine,

The pain of watch Stoke in the flesh for 90 minutes made somewhat more tolerable by the wonder that is Mirallas.

alot of people would watch todays game and think that stoke were pretty poor, but thats just the way the play unbelivable

Good result, truly believe Mirallas could be the most talented player ever to wear the blue shirt
you cant take the right out of Kenwright

God that was torture watching Stoke do everything but play the game, magnificent goal from Mirallas, goal of the season is going to be hard to call this year. Surprised I made it through the game in all honesty as I've been suffering from flu for two weeks and have had a strained muscle in my stomach for two days

Thought Vic was terrific today.
I thought he was largely awful first half, couldn't keep the ball.

You are wrong.
here's his passing from the first half

Exclude the 5 passes in his own half then he completed 7/13 passes in the opposition half, not that good really. His hold up play, first half especially was poor.

Second half he was much better:

12/16 completed passes in the opposition half.

When he gets his long range passing right, he can be pretty impressive. Today he didn't.

True, but more often that not this season he's been poor
