Can anyone really claim they know much about blackett? Seems ok to me, nothing special but seen him about three times

Point is, it would be crazy to let Distin go without bringing in someone better than Alcaraz, capable of doing a job for us. Blackett's simply not proved himself yet. Corluka for Distin would make more sense, but that seems like a long shot even if we are interested.

If we were to have a punt on Blackett I wouldn't be too disappointing. If nothing else he is young and has Premier League experience. I just hope we get someone in.
