Why are our "fans" disappointed to see a player of our team have a potential transfer to another club break down when a) they haven't exactly been piss poor and b) we have no replacement lined up for if the player does leave?

No. The lad has always been a bit Yobo at times, completely one-footed and no dominance in the air for his frame. Also, he's too old and he's past it. Cost us a lot of goals down the years and he's never worked in a partnership with Jagielka.

He was signed as a replacement to Lescott in 2009 to "steady the ship". Why he's here five and a half years later I don't know.

Sorry, but in my opinion he's never been good enough for us, and always been seconds away from a disasterous fuck up.  Add this to the rumours that he's been the cunt in the camp with Etoo (which would seem to have some substance given we've been trying to ditch them both this window).

Never liked him in the same way I never liked Neville, and I don't like McGeady.  Not because Neville was a manc or anything like that.  Just because I think they are shit players and never good enough for us.  As I say, opinions.
