Barkley should be nowhere near our team at present. Im not having hes a better option than Gibson, Naismith or Osman. He plays only on his reputation of Englands great new hope

Bollocks. Lads had about 3 good games this season. Hes a very lucky boy because based on performances he shouldnt be playing

he shouldn't be in the team, he should be rested and allowed to get some confidence back and his head back in the right place.  He should also be played in his correct position.

He shouldn't, however, be fucking booed or moaned at within five minutes of the game starting for a tiny mistake that leads to nothing

Im not so sure hes getting booed. Its bloody hard not to groan when he or anyone else is playing dreadful though. He doesnt need a rest hes just consistantly been poor this season. We absolutely have to sign a playmaker for next season.

He's playing in his correct position

The problem is he doesnt justify playing in any position. Naismith with his workrate and goals should be ahead of him. Weve been a much better team recently with Gibson rather than Barkley
Hes been beyond poor this season. Hes produced very few decent performances (QPR Villa and Young Boys might be the total) and created and scored even less. The lad shouldnt be playing not because he needs a rest but because hes not close to being deserving of a place. Fans groans arent ruining him. His poor performances are

Am I the only 1 that doesntt think its been too bad? Weve been infinitely worse than this at times this season

Think we've been quite good today. A bit drab but competitive against a top 4 team. Dont think Lukaku has been bad either. Seems like I watch a different game from everyone else each week

Really baffled by Kones lack of chances. Think hes only played poorly once when given a chance this season and yet gets little or no time on the pitch

Honestly have no clue what you're all talking about. We played arsenal who'd won as man in a row at home as we had all season (more now) We matched them and on another day could have won. It's frustrating that we aren't scoring goals and winning games but we are playing quite well and we are a million times better than the shambles over christmas. We need this season over with and the next to start but im really not sure where the massive moans about performances are coming from
