Decent game at the moment. Rare to say that about an England game.

1-0 as I say that.

Missed the first 10 mins, Stones could've easily been sent off. Not to mention the other poor mistakes.

VAR gave a penalty (well the ref via VAR). Kinda think it was right. Didn't see the foot being stepped on first time around. Probably was looking for it mind you.

Not sure if Italy stepped it up here, or England have just crumbled. After the subs England have looked poor.

England have looked a bit like us this season, super high line late on and Italy just dropping balls in behind it to run onto. Had they timed their runs a bit better they would've been clean through a couple of times.

Despite England playing well for a decent spell, I don't think that's a particularly great advert for Southgate. The game really got away from him, and it was partly his own making.

It's a tough chance.

I'd love us to get Zaha in the summer.

I feel like Zaha would never get the penalties he gets for Palace here. That is like 75% of his contribution too.

How bad were we earlier in the season getting hammered by Southampton?

West Ham up 3-0 in the first half.

Mark Hughes and Alan Pardew surely off the PL manager list now.

More of an open game than I was expecting between Juventus and Real Madrid. I suppose the early goal helped that.

Said it in the derby thread.

Liverpool are built for this competition. These teams want all the ball and want to play from the back. You just can't do it against this high, intense press.

That was why I was kinda sad that Man Utd went out as Mourinho wouldn't do that. This game would be a boring 0-0.

Man City always play into their hands. If Man City don't get an away goal or two here, they'll be going out.

Man City don't look like scoring at all.

I canít see them resting players for the derby now

Doesn't really matter does it. They could put out their reserves right now and we'd not trouble them.

Man City look devoid of ideas.
