That was not as controlled as Big Sam would probably like us to believe. We gave them way too much and provided ourselves with barely nothing.

Made up with the snidey point and there were flashes of quality stuff but we shat the bed early and couldn’t get our foot on the ball for ages.

I'm not sure why people are saying this, they created nothing in the last ten minutes and not much during the rest of the game. Pickford didn't have a decent save to make and hitting the post might as well hit the corner flag as you get just as many goals for it.

And both times they hit the post it was with long distance rockets. Didnt create a decent chance all match. If we add a couple of attacking players with real quality we have a good side

Classic Allardyce away performance to be honest, score early, shut up shop and frustrate the life out of them. Okay they had a couple of efforts from range that hit the post/bar but overall we deserved it. Could have scored another 1 or 2 ourselves.
