He's playing consistently well at the moment and his partnership with Keane is looking solid too.

Always think our best CB partnership is these 2.

Keane is undroppable at the moment, probably the first name on the team sheet and I think he brings out the best in Mina too.

So what happens when Allan is back, assuming we sign a RB in Jan? With Digne fit do Holgate and Godfrey drop to the bench??

I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Maybe goes under the radar a bit as he doesn't bring out and ping it as much as Keane but what a fuckin defender this fella is.

It's some partnership that.

He's been faultless for two months now. Automatic pick for our strongest side.
Ask yourself. "What would Lewis Hamilton say?"

I shit myself at the time tbh, thought it looked a nailed on pen.

Same, anywhere else on the pitch and that's a free kick and maybe even a yellow card.  I'd be pissed off if that was the other way round and we didn't get a penalty.

VAR will have checked that, they just don't always announce a check and they quickly established there was nothing in it so moved on with the game rather than endless checks.

Yeah I thought it looked like the kind that might get given but that it clearly wasn't intentional and was incidental contact, and VAR decided for that reason to stay away from it.

What that photo doesn't show is the movement of Hoever running full on into Mina's path, and Mina having full eyes on the ball. Yerry had full rights to block and using his arm to jump as any good defender would do.

He didn't elbow him Dunc stylee, but still was a foul and would have been given outside the box imo
