The amount of money we have now wasted on hiring and firing Martinez, Koeman, Allardyce and probably Silva is ridiculous. Considering Moshiri is intent on 'making a statement', why not offer a Kings ransom to get a proper top class manager in?
Arent manager wages and compensation buttons compared to what income the club has with the tv deals? I dont see it as an issue.

Yes Silva does talk joined-up bubbles in his interviews.

Agreed, what the fuck is Mike Walker's face doing on our stadium?

Welcome to the forum.

Watching Newcastle and I reckon they'd beat us, that's how shit we are right now.

Don't completely understand what all of this means but I'm guessing that it says based on xG we should be 10th currently

Obviously doesn't paint the full picture that we're fucking clueless and spineless

10th is still shit.

It would be worth every penny for the club to hire a set piece specialist.

Not just to improve our defending but we should be scoring a lot more goals with the takers we have and Yerry Mina to aim at.
I remember the exact same suggestion last season when we were also set-piece-shit.

Loved the performance and the win, hope that's a turning point. But... can we do it in away games? I think that'll be where Silva saves his job, or not.

We have some good ideas going forward and good interplay, but we dont play well consistently and theres a glaring mental weakness in the squad.

We've regressed since the start of last season but with better players. I think the only thing keeping Silva in a job is that the club havent got a replacement they're happy with yet.

Moyes would never work.

Even if he came and put a decent run together, he has that many fans that hate him that a couple of defeats would bring about a toxic atmosphere.

Decisions have gone against us, but like someone on here said a few weeks ago - we arent taking games by the scruff of the neck, everything is tight and on a knife edge that one bad decision loses us a game, even if our opponents are shit.

We didnt look like a threat today, in a home game to save his job. Everything up to the horrific injury was dull and predictable.

to be fair it's more than one bad decision
Brighton definitely, but we did nothing to win the game today. We were toothless.

We engineered penalties.

That's part of attacking.
Before VAR this would have also amounted to nothing.

If we are relying on accidental handballs to climb up the league then we're in trouble.

Tbf I think that injury made a draw feel like a loss.

Our club does just accept being a victim. Humble but does fuck all for our ambitions.
