If he wasn't getting a game here last season with only one striker ahead of him he isn't getting one now with three. Very poor to not have got him off the wage bill on loan at the very least.

in theory, yes, but Keoman is to much of an obnoxious prick to back track on his decision.
Unless something drastic changes to his coaching and tactics over the next few weeks, it will be boring, not sure what we are doing football for the rest of the season.
i dont think i new striker would have made any difference to the above either

Cmon! Give him a go.
If Koeman is such a good coach, maybe he can make Niasse a bit better.

He must be gutted? Really? I very much doubt he is, he can just sit back and do fuck all, and rake in the 60K A FUCKING WEEK, or whatever, and see out his contract, laughing all the way to the bank for doing fuck all. Ridiculous that we STILL havent shifted him on, STILL! There are some really shit staff at EFC, maybe we should invest a week or twos of the "footballers" wages and pay some decent, intelligent staff, to help run the club. We are seriously lacking in quite a few departments.

What a mess all round, not just a Everton thing though every club has this problem. Not good enough to justify their wages and don't want to take a wage cut.

Classic example of none of us knowing why the move fell through, wages is a possibility but so is it being out of his control. I agree with @nwatson Koeman wil be too stubborn to use Niasse, especially because he did not get the new 'no. 9' striker he asked for.

Rather than pay him for the remaining 2 or 3 years of his contract, pay him off. I am sure he is very happy being mega rich and nothing to do.

We don't want him here long term; he'll probably be loaned out / sold in Jan so why, when he's rubbish anyway, would we want him in the team / on the bench.

He's not a target man so it's not even as though he'd be a different tactical option.

Where's the niasse money bill ?

It's all gone to the taxi fee spent to drive him to the airport.

Palace couldn't agree the agent fee so it fell down in London.

Nothing to do with our staff on this one. There's plenty of reason to be pointing a finger of blame at our club at the minute - no need to add things that were out of our control.
