It's funny how because of the protests, the hosts are keen to stress the low expense of opening ceremony.

They may have a point, looks like power point presentation and give Gisele Bundchen a couple of quid to walk across the pitch. Or maybe I'm just bias but it's nothing compared to London so far.

Not religious but always loved Cristo Redentor and also love The Girl from Ipanema.

Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Also more twerking and booty shaking is definitely the way to go, if you haven't got much wedge to spend.

The 'Team GB Live' app seems the best option for Android.
Cordiali saluti, motherfuckers.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of the swimming finals are at around 3am!

When's the football on and are there any decent teams beyond Brazil and Argentina?

Mainly follow the Athletics because it's their absolute pinnacle, but I've gotten into a few other sports in recent Olympics like the Swimming and Cycling.

Don't think the Argentines are particularly good.

Germany and Mexico played a good match the other night.

I've got a good chance apparently in the 400m swim event later.

Not going there to come second

Simply simply lovely

Imagine waiting 4 years for the Olympics, riding all that way and then crashing on the final descent.
Cordiali saluti, motherfuckers.

Dropping like flies in the cycling road race, two of the top three just fell and Geraint Thomas just went down as well.
