Poor Pochettino must be shitting himself about next summer. Two quality defenders in Vertonghen and Alderweireld spending a month with Martinez could absolutely ruin them.

Not been watching but apparently O'Neill is serving up the usual hit'n'hope shite he is known for.

It's not like we're blessed with play makers. When you've a midfield of Harry arter and Calum o dowda with daryl Murphy up top we know what we're getting

Yes, compared to glen whelan or o dowda, but our squad is brutal. Our subs include Kevin long, Conor hourihane, Matt Doherty, Scott hogan and of course Mcgeady

Ireland really do turn football into a chore. It works for them, but fuck me it's horrible to watch.

Yes I see. I guess the bigger question is whether too many teams are qualifying in the first place. I think so. But then people will always hark back to the example of Greece in 2004.

I'm all for variety in styles of football at major tournaments. But too many teams paying negative football will harm the game. That's why I think that teams should not get any points if they draw 0-0 in the group stages.

It's not much fun being a Irish supporting Evertonian these days, but at least they are still giving us something to shout about, till Tues anyway.

Be a shame if Northern Ireland go out on the back of a terrible penalty decision.
I'm more trusting of fellas when they have my cock in their mouth

Well it has. In reality though, the Swiss were by far the better sie in the first leg. Not caught up on today's game so can't comment there.

I caught a bit of it. Norn Ireland played some decent stuff. They found a lot of nice angles in their play but lacked a cutting edge.

To go out to such a shit incorrect penalty decision is heart breaking, it would have been easier to take if we had been beat 2 or 3 nil.

Yes Switzerland missed numerous chances but they have top quality players playing for Juventus, Milan etc and we have a bunch of guys who are mainly playing lower league football apart from the likes of Davis, Evans and McAuley. The team just fight for all and play for the shirt and for us to hold our own and play exceptionally well tonight and still be in the tie right until the death says it all about our togetherness and support.

We know we are a limited squad but that didn't stop us from enjoying every second of the last 2 campaigns and the atmosphere we generate at Windsor for such a small stadium is second to none. Having been to all the wc qualifying matches this term and coming off a fantastic experience in France all I can say is I am immensely proud of what we have achieved and to be a part of the GAWA.
