Don't think it will be an easy game, they won't want to lose there last prem home game & there fans will probs be up for it. If we play and attack like we have done over the past few games then we should have enough to get a win, but wouldn't be surprised if we drew.

I don't know what others thoughts are on this, but I found it strange being disappointed only getting a draw at Stoke. It really isn't that long ago, most were concerned about relegation. Our expectations have certainly been raised. If we don't beat Wolves It will be a bigger disappointment than drawing with Stoke. 3-1 Everton.

The way Pienaar and Jelavic are playing at the moment, I can't see how they will be stopped, by Wolves' defence anyway. I expect a couple of spells of them using the ball and the rest of the game picking it out of their net.

5-1 Jelavicx2, Cahill, Pienaar, Fellaini, Fletcher.

We need to play as strong a side as we have available if we don't win and end up losing this 7th place we won't hear the end of it off the negative blues never mind the Liverpool fans, may aswell forget the likes of Barkley starting a game unless it's next week and we have it already confirned were 7th, i'll take the worst 1 nil ever played in the prem now if it meant we keep our league position,

              Howard,
Neville, Jags, Heitinga, Distin
Osman, Gibson, Fellaini, Pienaar
               Cahill,
               Jelavic

Wolves record at home this year is awful but they will want to try and give their fans a last home game win. I reckon we should scrap by with 2-1, it could be a decent game.

This'll be our last game in the current home shirt, assuming the Nike shirt gets an airing against Newcastle. Should mean they finally reduce its price for clearance - missed out on buying it when it was cheap a few months back.

               Howard
Hibbo  Heitinga Jags  Distin

Osman  Gibson  Cahill Peinaar

Win to us I reckon, looking for Pienaar and Jelavic to link up as usual.

                         Howard
            Hibbo Heitinga Jags Distin
           Osman Felli Pienaar Gueye
                           Cahill

Think gibbo and Nev will be injured for this so I'm going..

              Howard
Hibbert jags heitinga distin
           Fellani Cahill
Barkley    Ossie    Pienaar
               Jelavic

2-0 the blues! Lots of room for players to interchange up top.
Prob won't start Barkley.. So at least hope he can come on for a good 30mins.

I actually prefer the idea of the CL final played on a Saturday. I think it allows fans to make more of the event, soak up the atmosphere and see new city. I will be making a long weekend of when where there.....

.Really ? well here's some more . What has the Scottish Rooney done to justify pulling on a blue shirt ,let alone starting ? Is it his blistering pace or his eye for a goal ? FFS this is what drives me mad about Moyes ,his blind loyalty to certain players. I fully expect McPhadden to be offerd a 2 year deal in the summer.  :headbang:

Wolves might have something about them, you never know. I'd rather we start with McFadden because he's looked OK as a sub when he's come on. The young guns can always come on a bit later if it's clear we can use them. Moyes is cautious, maybe too much at times, but I do trust he knows his own players.

I hope we get the chance to see both Barkley and Baxter today. I watch all the reserves highlights on the OS and those 2 whenever there played together seem to have a great understanding in midfield and link up very well and would be interesting to see if they can carry it on and replicate it in the first team?.

If we take a comfortable lead at Wolves like we did last season then it would be the perfect chance in the second half to give the likes of those 2 some game time.

But i have a feeling it could be a tougher game than we think. Wolves will want to give there fans a little something in there final home game after a shit season and with relegation confirmed they can be relaxed and play without fear infront of there home fans for the first time in a long while.

But where playing well and should have too much quality for them and should win. 2-1 to us i'll go for, Jelavic back on the score sheet with a brace. COYB!.

Trying too hard to score the perfect goal. We've been in good positions but aren't taking advantage of it. Jelavic was easily onside for that call too.

Keep the tempo up and start playing like we did in the first 15 minutes again and we'll get a goal. Wolves couldn't cope with us but we've dropped the tempo down and it's suiting them.

We need to pick up the pace of the game.  We don't want to get too complacent. "If we are going places"? (notice the question mark ::)) this is the type of game we need to close off. This is why we are not in with a chance of Europe.

Osman typified an infuriating lack of determination in that last 20 minutes - game there to be won but didn't want it enough - at his head back best. For all his decent moments he has more poor games than good and is squad player at best - not all his fault today though - where was the side that got 12 goals in 3 games and put four past Untd.

True on the whole, but we should have had Jelavic's goal as he was well onside. Could have had a penalty for the foul on Osman as well.

Disappointing result, so it looks like there's a three-way fight for the 7th spot, with us hosting Newcastle, Liverpool at Swansea, and Fulham at Spurs.

Today showed were really lacking creativity in the side, well not lacking totally but lacking a player or players that can thread that eye of the needle through ball to put the striker through one on one and will always look to try and play it instead of always just shifting the ball on, or a player who as pace and can beat a man and put dangerous balls in or can find a man when cutting it back.

you talk like they have easy games. fulham will get beat by spurs and liverpool will probably lose one of their games. newcastle is at home for us...

people are so negative. because we did not score 4 goals suddenly we are back to how we were at the first half of the season according to some. we played good today and passed it, we were unlucky in front of goal and had a good goal taken away. do people expect wolves to just roll over and let us beat them on their last home game? they never looked like scoring, they were defensive,

we will beat newcastle anyway.

Today we saw how EFC have quality in a number of positions and crap in others.

I love it when the Club Record Holder gets in a decent position and instead of looking up and getting in a decent cross, he listens to the crowd and hammers it.  A decent right back, an inside forward beside Jelavic and a decent, pacy winger please.

mine is putting a couple of lads down for having a bit of fun out of fear that the worst football fans in the world might have ammunition to call us bitter and small time is...

2. Paranoia
3. Small Time

id rather be a bitter fan of a small time club than what we can FACTUALLY call them because i am not bitter and dont support a small time club...i am a proud evertonian...so there insults dont bother me

I know where you're coming from, but in answer to your question - yes, they would. They're just as bitter if not more so than us. They were jumping up and down dancing yesterday because City have probably won the league and not United. I've been to enough Anfield derbies now to see the numerous anti-Everton banners on the Kop every year, taunting us. They taunt us as much as we taunt them, so lets not beat ourselves up over a few divvies of Blue persuasion - they are more than enough Red divvies to balance things out.
