i would love our team to have Kenny,Davies, Lookman, DCL and Dowell in it every week,, to me on paper, that looks like an exciting back bone.. i know Dowell has gone to Forest, but soon!

Sandro and Klassan, along with Keane.. just 5 places up for grabs.. well 4 Pickford!
Unsworth has a 100% League record at home
Norwich 3-0 15th May 2016
Watford 3-2 5th Nov 2017
West Ham 4-0 29th Nov 2017
To Be Continued.....

There's a high chance we'd be in a relegation battle

would love to have the youthfulness of Lookman & Kenny playing on the right together, ust can't see Ron picking them*(Kenny not have much pre-season) and it is Stoke

I like that you've predicted their star ratings too. Bold move.

Not having anything without both Schneiderlin and Gana starting.  Ever (for the time being)!  We can shuffle our deck accordingly elsewhere on the pitch, going forward, so to speak.  Fucked if I'm picking an eleven at any point though, I pay my own way, thanks.  ;)

The team that started today for me.  We'd have won comfortably had we not made so many changes at half time.

I thought we were poor today, lookman was great when he came on

One thing is for sure, after about 5 games into the season we all know better about selecting who we want playing.  As for now I would select this:

Back four with Pickford of course, Martina as I think Kenny is not ready yet... for physical Stoke I mean... but maybe it would do him good to start right away but it could do him harm.  Baines, Keane and Jagielka.

Klaessen, Gueye, Barry,  (or Davies, Schneiderlin, Sigurdsson)

Lookman, Rooney, Sandro.

I'd start Lookman, Mirallas is past his best and has one good game in ten

Might as well make this the first PL matchday thread of the season.

Can't believe some are putting Kenny in their teams despite him never played more than 10 minutes in the first team.

Kenny needs the game time , but its a result's business. and Ron has more faith in Holgate atm, just a shame he did not have more of a run out in pre-season, can really only play in the lesser cup games now, unless he goes out on loan....
