He's a DM
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

William Carvalho?

He's a completely different type of player to Sigurdsson, he's a DM, destroyer, anchorman type player.

EDIT: @brap2 beat me to it. :)

Well Bayern want 45mil for Sanches. As much as I like Sig and think he is a good player, yeah, those two examples, for me, are proof that 50mil for him is absolutely ridiculous from our point of view. Have no problem with Swansea asking it, and sticking to their guns though.

Probably a better option than a chronically injured Vermaelen

There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

But he's not a centre back or able to cover left back either, which is what Koeman is after, Carvalho is completetly different to Vermaelen who does fit that profile.

Carvalho would occupy the same position as Schniederlin, Gueye and Barry.

Did you mean Ricardo @Ross ?

He's still going in China. Even at 39 you may still have a point though

Very good player from what I've seen but not sure we need him with Big Morgs in the team.

Think he can play at centre back actually. Maybe not ideal cos he's slow.

How? Sanches has done nothing, he had 1 good Euro championships and done nothing, and hes scored 2 goals in 41 games, I dont see a great deal between him and the likes of Deulofeu. Carvalho likewise, hes been in a poor league for years and why has nobody signed him!!? If anything I think spending 5/10 million more for a proven Premiership player is a deal.

Yes I'd say 40m for a DM from the Portuguese league is at least equivalent to 50m for a proven PL attacking midfielder.

Both too high but it's bonkers at the moment.
