Iím guessing it never rains in Philadelphia ?

Think that's California, well the Southern part anyway  :) and the fella above isn't half blind, he needs a dog. Nice view though.

Philadelphia Union in the MLS has a great stadium that backs onto water in the Chester Area of Pennsylvania (20 miles from center city).  The capacity is for 18500 fans without a bad view in the house.  I think the stadium looks great although it will be obviously a lot smaller than our new home on the docks.  I have included a link containing stadium photos etc for you to check out.

That's what you call "open plan", ideal for the polite American cheer leading MLS fan based market - Philadelphia Freedom!

Ours will be three times the capacity and more enclosed - with plenty of reverb!

55,000 is a good compact capacity for our very own "Colosseum2"

In 1962-63 we had our record average home attendance of 51,500, the most supported club that season; we retained top spot with 49,500 in 1963-64 and just about hit the 50,000 mark in 1969-70

Arise, Sir Dan!

Naturally air-conditioned - ours will have a sliding roof with solar panels attached!

We were the first club to install under soil heating - ahead of the game, us!

Not long afterwards were we not the only club to call a game off because the pitch was waterlogged when everyone else was frozen off? 1962/3 season probably or is that just an urban myth. Sure there is an element of truth in it.
The Himalayas has the Yeti, Norway has Trolls, America has Hillbillies. You, good people, are blessed with Shropshire.
