I’d presume Allardyce was on £2m a year at Palace, hence the rumoured £2m compo fee?

So I’d like to know just what Moshiri sees in him to offer treble that amount now? Less than twelve months on. It makes no sense whatsoever. Allardyce went to Palace at a much later stage than this and they were in far greater need of a “firefighter specialist” to help them stay up given their position compared to our current one. Yet they seemingly weren’t held to ransom by him or his agent and here we are with this supposed “top” businessman in charge paying hand over fist, again, for a manager nobody else is interested in.

How’s it come to this? We’ve gone from being a prudent, tightly run business less than 20 months ago to chucking cash around like a drunken sailor on shore leave. If we carry on like this it won’t be long before we begin to circle the plug hole, like countless clubs before us.

Think he was on 2.5 million with bonuses, the 2 million we have to pay was in his contract in case he took another job within 12 months of leaving them.

I agree its an absolute shambles on and off the pitch, and without sounding like a broken record, is the reason I was so against Koeman sacking, he wasnt the problem, the problems run much deeper at our club.

Bang on!!

This season has shown the true colours of some of our fans.

I'm not sure what you think fans are for. Are fans not human and entitled to have opinions and views or are they supposed to just get behind the club regardless? No individual has to support Everton Football Club, it's not a given unlike some romantic notions that seem to think it is.

If some fans decide the club is going backwards and they can't stomach a kopite on the touchlines then they are perfectly within their rights to withhold their money and support and become a passive fan, at best, if they want. Clubs are there to serve the fans not the other way around and empty seats are usually decent indicators of the balance.

The current bottom 6 clubs are managed by Hughes ,Pardew ,(Allardyce ) ,Moyes ,Clements ,& Hodgson . All experienced managers ,some with experience of fighting relegation. It's going to be a struggle to get away from this group .
I don't want Allardyce either but he's what we need at this time.   FFS.
We are special ,we are Everton.

Looks like one of them baboons that rob ya food in Gib.
Night comes down and finds you alone
In a space and time of your own
Lost in dreams in world full of shadows.

Can't wait to see the the official announcement video, that should be fun

2 years ago it was Koeman flying into JLA on a private Jet, today it will be Sam Fucking Allardyce walking out of a subway munching a footlong

Talk of a 4m 'saving us from relegation' bonus as well.

He's played two blinders, retiring in the summer was always going to make whoever got him next pay more to 'convince' him to come out of retirement. Also walking away from negotiations so publically last time when he knew he wasn't first choice meant that if we did come back he'd hold all the cards when negotiatiating. Everything has fallen into place for him now he's about to earn about 4m in wages, 4m for keeping us up and whatever big signing on bonus he'll get so probably make 10m between now and the end of the season alone.

Thank goodness it will be a proper footlong and not a nonce 6incher that Fonseca would be chomping on

This angers me a lot, he won't save us from relegation, we'd be fine with whoever took over, but he will be lauded a hero by a few on here.

He's going to be one of the highest paid managers in the world.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah ahahahahahahahahahahahaha

He's played a fucking blinder here. Fair play to him.

I certainly will not be getting behind him. I'll grin and bear it for the few months he's here before he gets fucked off as it becomes abundantly clear he's out of his depth managing Everton.

The same as Koeman, Martinez, Moyes, Smith, Walker, before him
Hans segers is a legend ;)

I think I'm starting to see why Usmanov kept Moshiri in the background while he negotiated the big boy deals and his Penfold-like No 2 carried his bag and did his online banking for him.

Bet the kopites loved that.

Not that we'd see many photos like that if he comes here.

Varying reports.

But he got 4m for keeping palace up and seeing as we will be trebling his wages it makes those reports seem more than plausible.

I still can't believe this is happening. And the money! All those precious £££'s on this outcome. What have we become besides a laughing stock.
