I think its become a waste of time predicting the squad that moyes is going to put out. There are always obvious ways we should play and we don't.  :headbang:
Risk more than others think is safe, dream more than others think is practical and expect more than others think is possible.

i normally like to give a few players ago in games like this but after the newcastle result i want to really go for this cup

                                                               howard

     hibbert                           jags                                    heitinga                      baines

    coleman                      arteta                                       fellaini                       pienaar

                                                            bily/ yak

                                                          beckford

or with becks and yak up front.... i know jags and arteta and that should be dropped but i would play them an really go for it, and play same team as fulham
Those that dont know do not matter!

Can't see Moyes changing things too much. We need a win so he'll put his strongest team out.

-------------------Howard--------------
Neville---Jagielka--Distin---Baines
Bily----Fellaini----Arteta----Pienaar
----------------Osman----------
-------------Yakubu-----------

Bench: Mucha, Coleman, Heitinga, Beckford, Gueye, Cahill, Barkley

3-1 Everton. Yakubu x2 and Fellaini.

Why not really hammer them?

Brentford are shite, yes?

So why not honour our history and play the 2-3-5 formation?

Mucha

Jags - Heitinga

Neville - Fellaini - Baines

Coleman - Cahill - Yakubu - Arteta - Pienaar

That team would smash the granny out of Brentford any day of the week

We'd win something like 10-3

Hahaha!
This, except Hibbert in for Arteta.

Well, being pedantic, It's Brentford v Everton.

I don't really see - after last Saturday's shite - why we'll suddenly play well, so although I'm hoping for 0-10, 1-1 would be a more reasonable prediction.

About to begin my long journey to Brentford, hopefully next time I'm on here I'll be in a good mood.

He can't afford to rest too many players, especially considering we're still leaking goals and he needs to sort us out as a unit.

Howard

Hibbert Heitinga Jagielka Baines

Fellaini Arteta

Bilyaletdinov      Pienaar      Gueye

Beckford

Howard

Hibbert Jagielka Heitinga Baines

Coleman Osman Fellaini Pienaar

Yakubu Beckford

Then play them again against Fulham IF they win. Big IF at the moment  :eh:

As much as I'm tired of Osman on the wing I'm getting about as equally fed up with Arteta in the middle. See what Osman can do in the middle and give him a go against Fulham if he plays well.

Why is everyone on here being so risk averse with their suggestions? I reckon we should start Gueye, Barkley, Bily, Coleman, Yak, Beckford and Neville, and rest Pienaar, Fellaini and Distin (drop in his case) and make multiple changes at half time if we are chasing the game. If we lose we can comfort ourselves that we didnt play our strongest team and it was Moyes fault.

Why dont we start with a good side go ahead then bring the others on, i really dont think we wanna ever be chasing a game and chucking so called big names on

Simply simply lovely

If our 'reserves' can't beat a third tier team then we can buy Brentford's team at a suitable discount to what ours cost.
