Poor unsy. Practised the 5 months 5 years 5 days line all day. Love the bloke though. Hope these players dig in tomorrow. Massive game.

Seems Sam will meet the players before the game tonight.

No doubt will see an upturn in effort trying to impress the new boss.

Poor old miserable Moyes, what looked an easy 3 points away from home just become a major headache.

Yeh, something about his wrists which are causing him to palm balls back out in front of him instead of away to the side.

I thought he had developed a bad back at Sunderland picking the ball out of the net so maybe he has a reoccurrence .

I feel sorry for Pickford after last season ,he thought he was going to a better team!! Amidst all this doom and gloom (and I am hoping above all else Crooked Sam gets writer's cramp) we are not far from the middle of the table so it is not all over .As has been said we are riding our luck with some of the results -I can't believe what I just typed -so there must be unluckier teams below us

Nice.

The only player in the first team squad with a left foot gets injured from playing too much football at his age. I wonder if anyone internally had this down as a possible scenario when picking squad numbers?

Haha

Nice one Steve Walsh for not signing a left back.

Why doesn’t garbutt get a look in?
Not good enough?

This will be one of the few occasions Moyes will bring a gun to a knife fight.

Because some Einstein at the club - who is now long gone - never contemplated a scenario where Baines could get injured before January.
