Might as well get cracking with this one.

Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

GLewis was saying that sometimes derbies don't turn out quite as badly as you sometimes think they will, and he's right. It's the ones where you go into it on good form, genuinely fancying it and surrender meekly that really hurt.

However, on this occasion, I am sincerely fearful.

do they take it easy so we have a better state of squad to face united with? do they want a kicking festival with villareal on the horizon? does anyone even care?

its like our support is holding its breath, waiting, so many more fuck ups and martinez is gone and theres a sigh of relief, the stars align and we make or even win the final and its cheers of joy. stuck between two places and powerless to affect the finishing outcome.

as gibson got a run i cant fathom a reason that'd keep pienaar out if hes fit, hell of a swan song if hes really on his way...

Coutinho to have a field day, , Barry will get sent off and Lukaku will do his hamstring with both missing the semi final, Sky will try and fit in as many ex red shites as possible in the studio, put Alan fucking Parry as commentator and they will run that fucking Nivea advert all night long

Going to be grim this and the sooner it's over the better

A point would be amazing given how poorly we are playing at the moment and how much of a high they are on after beating Dortmund on Thursday and beating Bournemouth today

However aren't form books meant to go out the window in derbies?

The right back situation scares me a bit
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

Yes. We usually fail to win regardless of form

I expect another draw given our good away record, maybe a plucky win if a few injuries clear up and our fortunes change.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

You make your own luck though don't you?!

Let's hope we make ours by playing well for a change!
